Private Yacht Rental in Miami

The best way to see Miami is from the water

A Miami day charter puts a private, crewed yacht at your disposal for the day. Instead of sharing a crowded party boat with strangers, you get the whole vessel, a licensed captain, and a mate who takes care of everything while you relax. It is the difference between watching Miami go by and actually living it.

From Miami Beach Marina on South Beach, your captain can cruise the mansions of Star Island, slip past the palm-lined estates of Palm and Hibiscus Islands, and drop anchor at the famous Key Biscayne sandbar where the water turns bright turquoise. Along the way you can ride jet skis, swim, snorkel, sunbathe on the deck, or simply pour a drink and take in the skyline. Every charter is private, so the day runs on your schedule, not a tour operator's.

Whether you are planning a birthday, bachelorette party, anniversary, family day out, or corporate outing, a private yacht charter turns an ordinary afternoon into the kind of day people talk about for years. Below you will find our fleet, the destinations we visit, how pricing works, and everything else you need to book with confidence.

Private Charter vs. The Rest

Why rent a private yacht instead of a party boat

Shared tour boats and party cruises pack dozens of strangers onto a fixed route and a fixed clock. A private day charter is the opposite. Here is what that difference actually gets you.

The whole boat is yours

No strangers, no assigned seats, no waiting your turn for the jet skis. Just your group, your music, and your captain running the day the way you want it.

The route bends to you

Want more time at the sandbar and less cruising? Done. Want to chase the sunset or add a stop for lunch on the water? Your captain adjusts on the fly.

Crew who handle everything

A licensed captain and mate manage the boat, the anchoring, and the toys so nobody in your group has to lift a finger or know a thing about boating.

How Pricing Works

What a Miami day charter costs

Charter rates depend on the yacht you choose and whether you book a half or full day. Every rate is all-in on the essentials. Here is exactly what that means so there are no surprises.

Half Day

4 hours

Full Day

8 hours

A great fit for a focused day. Cruise the islands, spend real time at the sandbar, and get everyone on the water without a full-day commitment.

Every rate includes

Rates vary by yacht and season. Crew gratuity and 7% Florida sales tax are added to every charter. Contact our dock team with your date and group size for an exact quote.

When To Go

The best time to charter in Miami

Miami is a year-round boating city. Here is what to expect by season so you can plan the perfect day on the water.

Dec – Feb

Winter
Peak season. Warm, dry days, low humidity, and calm water. The most popular time to charter, so book your date early.

Mar – May

Spring
Arguably the best all-around weather. Comfortable temperatures, clear skies, and busy sandbars on the weekends.

Jun – Aug

Summer
Hot and lively, with warm water ideal for swimming. Brief afternoon showers pass quickly, and mornings are gorgeous.

Sep – Nov

Fall
Quieter water and great value. Still plenty warm for the sandbar, with fewer crowds once the summer rush winds down.

The best days in Miami happen on the water

Half day or full day, 2 guests or 13. Your private yacht is ready at Miami Beach Marina. Reserve your date before the calendar fills.

Private Charter vs. The Rest

Why rent a private yacht instead of a party boat

Shared tour boats and party cruises pack dozens of strangers onto a fixed route and a fixed clock. A private day charter is the opposite. Here is what that difference actually gets you.

How long is a day charter?

Two options. A Half Day package is 4 hours and a Full Day package is 8 hours. Both depart from Miami Beach Marina on South Beach. Longer and multi day charters can be arranged. Just ask.

How many guests can come aboard?

Day charters carry up to 13 guests regardless of yacht size. That’s the standard limit for this type of charter. Larger private events on bigger yachts can be arranged separately.

What's included in the price?

I am item content. Click edit button to change this text. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

Can we bring food and drinks, or add a chef?

I am item content. Click edit button to change this text. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

Where do we go?

A typical route cruises Star Island, Palm & Hibiscus Islands, and the Art Deco skyline, then anchors at the Key Biscayne sandbar (tide permitting) for swimming and water toys. Your captain tailors it to your group.

How do I book?

Pick a yacht above and tap Check Dates, or call our dock team at 305-758-2500. We’ll confirm your date, walk you through pricing and take care of every detail.

Where do we meet, and is there parking?

All charters depart from Miami Beach Marina on South Beach, at the south end of Alton Road. There is paid parking on site, plus rideshare drop-off right at the marina entrance. We’ll send exact directions and your dock number once your date is confirmed.

Is a yacht charter good for kids and families?

Yes. Day charters are very family friendly. The sandbar has shallow, calm water that’s great for kids, and your captain can stick to protected bay routes for a smoother ride. We provide life jackets in child sizes on request. Just let us know ages when you book so we can plan the day around your group.

What if someone gets seasick?

Seasickness is rare on a day charter because most of your time is spent anchored at the sandbar in calm water, not out in open ocean. If anyone is prone to it, choose our power catamaran Legend & Soul for the steadiest ride, take a non-drowsy remedy an hour before boarding, and tell your captain so they can pick the calmest route.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Your safety comes first. If the captain determines conditions are unsafe on your date, we’ll work with you to reschedule for another day at no penalty. Light rain often passes quickly in Miami and doesn’t cancel a charter, but the final call always rests with your captain on the day.

What should we bring aboard?

Bring sunscreen, a towel, sunglasses, a hat, and any food or drinks you’d like beyond what’s stocked. Everything essential is already on board, including water, sodas, ice, and the yacht’s water toys. Leave hard-soled shoes at home, as most guests go barefoot on deck.

Is gratuity included, and how much should we tip?

Bring sunscreen, a towel, sunglasses, a hat, and any food or drinks you’d like beyond what’s stocked. Everything essential is already on board, including water, sodas, ice, and the yacht’s water toys. Leave hard-soled shoes at home, as most guests go barefoot on deck.

Do you require a deposit, and what's the cancellation policy?

A deposit secures your date, with the balance due before departure. Nothing is charged when you request a date online. Our dock team will walk you through the exact deposit, payment, and cancellation terms when they confirm your booking, so everything is clear before you commit.

Can we drink alcohol on board?

Yes. Guests of legal drinking age are welcome to bring alcohol, or we can arrange an open bar package for the day. As always, your captain and mate stay sober to run the boat safely. We simply ask that everyone drinks responsibly on the water.

Can we bring a pet?

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on most of our yachts with advance notice. Let us know when you book so we can confirm the specific boat allows pets and prepare accordingly. There may be a small cleaning fee.

Can you host a birthday, bachelorette, or wedding on board?

Absolutely. Private day charters are one of the most popular ways to celebrate in Miami, from birthdays and bachelorette parties to anniversaries and corporate outings. We also arrange full yacht weddings on larger vessels. Add a personal chef, open bar, music, or decor, and we’ll help build the day around your occasion.
