Boat Miami will work with any budget that is possible but to be realistic it is best to estimate that for a complete yacht wedding package with ceremony and reception you will need to budget $100 and over per person depending on the style of boat and many other options. Ways to reduce the cost for a boat wedding package include limiting the bar options to beer and wine only, plus soft drinks and water. As you all know alcohol is great at a party but can really add the to the cost of it.
Some brides choose a cash bar but this is not recommended as you are asking your guests in many cases to travel, pay for a hotel room, buy a new outfit and you know they will bring a gift and then you are saying “oh and by the way pay for your own drinks”. Not an elegant way to start your new life together.
FOOD AND CATERING
Food is another way to control the cost without skimping or starving your guests. The best way to feed crowd is with a buffet as there is always enough and more to go around. The chef on your boat will make sure that your guests do not leave hungry. Not to mention that the chefs on most of the boats are fabulous and many are very highly trained and skilled chefs from some of the best culinary schools around.
The third item that can be costly is the entertainment. Some boats will let you take your own DJ on board for no fee but others will charge you for the use of their equipment.
Quite honestly it is more economical to use the boat’s choice of DJ unless you have a DJ that you just cannot get married without. And believe me it happens. All boats will allow live entertainment. But I should point out that all boats will require your entertainers to be insured and if not they will add them to the boats insurance for a small fee.
No boat will allow your relative or friend to act as a DJ. The reason being that the all the boats have expensive wiring and installations that they do not want to burn out by an inexperienced entertainer.
