1. Plan Ahead
If possible, book your party boat in Miami or Ft Lauderdale one year ahead or at least 6 months before your wedding day. If you are planning your Wedding around any Holiday Date, you may want to consider booking even sooner.
Some of the most popular dates for weddings are May, June, and December. But other busy days to consider would be Easter, Labor day, and Memorial Day weekend.
2. Budget
Weddings, like honeymoons have traditionally cost more than was budgeted for however, you will always remember your wedding and your honeymoon but you will soon forget the cost. So to help to take the stress out plan ahead. Make a budget that is realistic.
Many yachts offer wedding day packages which are all inclusive including wedding cake and champagne toast. Generally speaking it is more economical to have the DJ and Entertainment included in the package.
3. Food
Choose a yacht that will allow you to make suggestions to your wedding buffet or sit-down dinner. Many of the yachts that we recommend have very diverse chefs who can prepare American, European, Asian or Latin American Dishes.
You may not remember what you ate but your guests certainly will. All wedding package menus can be customized by the Yacht’s chef, however, this may increase the cost.
Today most yachts can offer Kosher catering either with their own preferred caterer or a caterer of your choice. This does add a small cost to dinner, and we would be happy to discuss this with you.
4. Location
Miami has many great locations, including Biscayne Bay, and some of the most popular hotels in Downtown Miami. Biscayne Bay is a great location as the water is shallow, and another great reason for using this location when the sun sets it is a beautiful picture opportunity.
Ft Lauderdale has its own share of charm with locations on the intra-costal and can also pick up at many local hotels in the area. Boats from Miami and be relocated to Ft Lauderdale, and Vice Versa. But this will add to budget, so choose a boat that is in the location of your wedding.
